Fees

The current fee for a 1 hour session is $220.

The majority of clinical psychology services by NBAH are eligible for partial fee rebates through:

Medicare: If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP you can claim a rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. The current Medicare rebate for Clinical Psychology is $145.25.

Private Health Insurance Fund: No referral is needed. Rebates with your health fund are dependent on your health insurance policy.

NDIS: Clients with funding available in their plans can be seen at our service. Although our Psychologists are not registered with NDIS we provide support to people who have plan managed or self managed plans. A GP referral is not required.

SIRA (or other insurance schemes): Some of our Clinical Psychologists are registered to provide services for WorkCover, Lifetime Care or CTP claims. Please obtain approval from your insurer prior to attending the first appointment.

DVA: Clients with a DVA referral from their GP are welcome at this service.

ADF: ADF members can access this service via a referral direct from the Defence Force Services.

Bulk Billing: Some of our Clinicians have availability to see clients for bulk billing services provided they are on a full pension or under financial duress. A GP Mental Health Care Plan is required to access this service noting this plan will allow up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
